Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corsicana). They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Ennis Lions on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

They hit Ennis with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miguel Herrera (2), Chris Velasquez (2), Giancarlo Zuniga, and Santiago Centeno.

Corsicana's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Ennis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season.

Corsicana will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waco at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st. Ennis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
