Basketball Recap: Digital Pioneers Academy Skates Past BASIS with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Digital Pioneers Academy's strategy against BASIS on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons blew the BASIS Red Giants out of the water with a 69-27 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.

Leading Digital Pioneers Academy to victory were Kenneth Borders and Donte Taylor. Borders went 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points in addition to six steals and five assists, while Taylor went 10 of 13 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Imran Buttt, who posted seven points along with six boards and three steals.
