Noah Martin Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Peyton got the W thanks in part to Noah Martin playing the best football he has all season. Martin rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 134 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making seven total tackles in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Martin might just drop another big game when he faces off against Colorado Springs Christian on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Martin saw the Lions), he threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards.

Daniel Hoggard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Colorado Springs Christian to the win on Thursday. Hoggard rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win was the third in a row for Colorado Springs Christian, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions challenges Peyton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jace Velasquez Delivers Electric Performance Vs Dolores Huerta Prep
Keeping Hoggard company is Jace Velasquez, a fellow Colorado Springs Christian player. He threw for 148 yards and four touchdowns.
