The DASH United's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 76-33 loss at the hands of South Wake. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points DASH has scored all season.
South Wake found their leader in underclassman Lawson Jurgens, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Jurgens pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Webb, who scored nine points along with six steals.
DASH bumped their record down to 5-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for South Wake, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
DASH will be home for the holidays to greet Southeastern HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Wake, they will head out on the road to face off against New Life Camp at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in New Life Camp's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
