Troy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sayre Sabres by a score of 6-1. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sabres, too.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Sayre, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy will square off against Cowanesque Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sayre, they will head out to take on Towanda at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
