The Ulysses Tigers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Wichita County by a score of 57-50. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but Ulysses was the better team in the second half.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colton Harbin, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Christopher Michel was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Ulysses' victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Wichita County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ulysses will take on Hugoton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hugoton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Wichita County, Wichita County and Lakin will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Lakin's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
