Berean Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Deonte Smith led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Smith's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Connor Copeland, who scored 19 points along with three steals.
Knoxville A's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-7. As for Berean Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
