The Lower Brule Sioux can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sunshine Bible Academy 49-20 on the road. The victory was just what Lower Brule needed coming off of a 75-51 loss in their prior matchup.
Lower Brule's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Lower Brule will head out on the road to face off against Flandreau Indian at 6:15 p.m. on January 18th. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they will face off against Wessington Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Wessington Springs presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sunshine Bible Academy in South Dakota (Wessington Springs is ranked 26th, while Sunshine Bible Academy is ranked 111th).
