After two games on the road, Baker is heading back home. They will take on the UIC College Prep Firecats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Thursday, Baker had to suffer through a rough 69-14 loss at the hands of Golder.
UIC College Prep posted their biggest win since December 6, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Wolcott College Prep, posting a 70-38 victory at home. The win was just what UIC College Prep needed coming off of a 67-37 defeat in their prior matchup.
UIC College Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Coleman, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Moore, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Baker bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for UIC College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
