After only two  runs in their last  contest, David Thibodaux made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Westgate  on Tuesday. David Thibodaux was the clear victor by  a  16-0 margin over Westgate. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Justice Chambers made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-low in  walks (one). She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, David Thibodaux got a  massive  performance out of  Kylie Dronet, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more,  Dronet posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since March 3rd. Another player making a difference was  Aubrey Savini, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
 David Thibodaux  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .955. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  win snapped David Thibodaux's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 11-12 record. As for Westgate, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the  loss, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 David Thibodaux didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  6-5  defeat against Southside on the 26th. As for Westgate, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  20-0  loss against St. Thomas More on the 27th.
