They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 81-14 victory over Learning Foundation & Performing Arts. Ridgeline Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ridgeline Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cayci Muessig, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Muessig has scored at least 25% of Ridgeline Academy's points. Lailah Berry was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Ridgeline Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeline Academy will challenge BASIS - Peoria at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. BASIS - Peoria comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Learning Foundation & Performing Arts won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Valley Athletes for Christ at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. East Valley Athletes for Christ presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Learning Foundation & Performing Arts in Arizona (East Valley Athletes for Christ is ranked 39th, while Learning Foundation & Performing Arts is ranked 232nd).
