North Gaston gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the East Gaston Warriors to the tune of 66-19. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 39-point advantage.
Jaleila Littlejohn had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double with 37 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ranya Watkins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.
Despite the loss, East Gaston still got an impressive performance from Kayla Maiers, who posted seven points.
