Edmond Santa Fe scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Lawton, 68-28. At the time, the Wolverines were ranked 11th in the state, while the Wolves were 31st.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lawton, who took down 11th ranked Lawton, 68-28.
Southmoore's dynamic duo of Tre Edwards and Johnathan Martin proved tough for Norman to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Edwards threw for 170 yards and one touchdown and Martin had 72 yards receiving. Jaelon Walker helped Southmoore's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 55 yards.
Jonah Llanusa provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Choctaw fell to Edmond Memorial. He completed seven passes for 113 yards and also ran for 165 yards. Llanusa's favorite target this week was Carson Smith, who caught one pass for 39 yards.
A'enon Hines was the most productive running back in 6A District 4 this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 190 yards as the Tigers fell to the Tigers. Teammate Imond Robinson added to the ground attack by rushing for 143 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Edwards and Karltrell Henderson Southmoore has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Edwards leads the league in passing with 1363 yards, while Henderson has rushed for 882 yards this season. The Yellowjackets' Cote Barber leads the league in receiving yards with 473 on 30 catches.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Edmond Santa Fe and Norman. Lance Manning's team enters the contest ranked 13th in the state, while Greg Nation's team ranks 17th.
The Tigers extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Jeff Brickman's team, 41-28. The victory was the sixth in a row for Norman.
