The Bozeman Bucks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Rutherford with points to spare, taking the game 41-24. Given Bozeman's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Rutherford is ranked 429th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bozeman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Gay led the charge by throwing for 240 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Chance Jenkins was another key contributor, gaining 113 total yards and three touchdowns.
Bozeman's victory was their fifth straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Rutherford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Bozeman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rutherford also has no future games currently scheduled.
