The Lighthouse Christian Lions will be home for the holidays to greet the Dietrich Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Lighthouse Christian beat Riverstone International 57-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lighthouse Christian.
Meanwhile, Dietrich waltzed into their matchup Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over Murtaugh. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Dietrich has scored all season.
Lighthouse Christian pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Dietrich, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Lighthouse Christian beat Dietrich 71-64 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Lighthouse Christian repeat their success, or does Dietrich have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
