Jackson Center came out on top against Lehman Catholic on Saturday thanks in part to Eli Prenger's efforts. Prenger tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Coming up, Prenger and Jackson Center are taking a road trip to challenge Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since May of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
