Northwest and Oak Hill pushed the score to  56-35 the last time they played Oak Hill, but  on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Mohawks never let the Oaks get on the board and left with  a   20-0  victory. The Mohawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20  points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jake Brown, who rushed for 75 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and two  TDs. Brown's passing game has become a key predictor of the Mohawks' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of  Brown's aerial production (83 yards to be exact)  went to  Austin Smith, who also brought in two  receiving touchdowns.

Northwest is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.2 points over those games. As for Oak Hill,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
