The American History Bald Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Glen Ridge Ridgers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American History knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Glen Ridge likes a good challenge.
American History pushed their score all the way to 72 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 78-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montclair Kimberley Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (61), American History still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ahmad Woodard, who scored 20 points along with seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ah'Zeah Woodard, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Glen Ridge posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They skirted past Cedar Grove 53-51.
American History's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Glen Ridge, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
