The Longwood Panthers lost against the Bowen Boilermakers back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Longwood took a 37-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowen. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Longwood in their matchups with Bowen: they've now lost four in a row.
Bowen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kimora Myles, who scored 19 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The contest was Myles' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delia Walker, who scored 11 points.
Longwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bowen, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Longwood will be playing at home against Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tilden is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Bowen, they will head out on the road to face off against Solorio at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Solorio comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
