The Clermont Northeastern Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Bethel-Tate Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Clermont Northeastern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Clermont Northeastern had to suffer through a rough 63-21 loss at the hands of Batavia. While losing is never fun, Clermont Northeastern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 466th, while Batavia is ranked 182nd).
Despite the loss, Clermont Northeastern saw an underclassman step up: Emma Yeager scored 9 points. Yeager has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Bethel-Tate, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They fell 48-36 to Georgetown on Monday.
Clermont Northeastern's win lifted them to 2-2 while Batavia's defeat dropped them down to 4-2.
Clermont Northeastern came up short against Bethel-Tate in their previous matchup back in January, falling 56-48. Can Clermont Northeastern avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
