Ryan have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Empire at 7:30 PM. Ryan have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Empire are surely hoping to exploit.
After a string of three wins, Ryan's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 26-57 walloping at Caddo's hands.
Meanwhile, if Empire were riding high off their 38-8 takedown of Cyril, that ride came to an abrupt end. Empire found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 24-52 punch to the gut against Alex last Friday. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Alex enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
