The Bard Early College Raptors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 46-25 walloping at the hands of East Tech. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Bard Early College struggled afterwards.
East Tech found their leader in underclassman Myheirah Hampton, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hampton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lanijah Carraway, who scored seven points.
Bard Early College has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for East Tech, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bard Early College will face off against the at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Tech, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Fighting Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
