Despite the loss, Banning had strong showings from Noah Aguilar, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Junior Dunahoo, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Dunahoo posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Jalen Young, who scored eight points.
It was another big night for Jadon Pierce, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals for Yucca Valley. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Mills, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Banning has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Yucca Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
