Sprague hasn't had much luck against Sheldon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Olympians will head out on the road to face off against the Irish at 7:00 p.m. Sprague will be strutting in after a win while Sheldon will be coming in after a defeat.
Sprague took a loss when they played away from home on October 10th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They walked away with a 32-21 victory over Grants Pass. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Olympians considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Carter Lovell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 299 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 91 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those 299 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Sprague's leading receiver Max Makarenko was Lovell's top target yet again, picking up 175 receiving yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sprague was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
Sprague's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Emmett Hunsaker and Bohdi Jones, who racked up four sacks between them. Hunsaker also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.
Meanwhile, Sheldon played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 34-10 to Grants Pass.
Sprague has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Sheldon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Sprague has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 215.9 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Sheldon, though, as they've been averaging only 90.1 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Sprague was dealt a bruising 45-17 defeat at the hands of Sheldon in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Olympians were down 31-3.
