Shea is 4-0 against Mt. Hope since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Shea Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Mt. Hope Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Mt. Hope took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shea, who comes in off a win.
Shea has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season. They breezed by Mt. Pleasant at home to the tune of 82-37. Shea's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Mt. Hope faced West Warwick in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mt. Hope received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 50-35 to West Warwick.
The win makes it two in a row for Shea and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Mt. Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Shea beat Mt. Hope 39-31 in their previous matchup back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shea since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
