Slidell had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Hammond Tornadoes. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tornadoes, too.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Slidell was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11,  25-10.
Leading Slidell to victory were  Ella Kate Spilling and  Lillian Simpson.  Spilling  had eight  digs, while  Simpson  had five  digs and two  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Slidell  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
Slidell's victory bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Hammond,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-14.
