Lake City blew Post Falls out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Post Falls got their revenge. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 10-8. Even though they lost, the Timberwolves' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Owen Mangini and Kasen Noffke did some serious damage despite the final result: Mangini scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Noffke scored a run while going 2-for-4. Avrey Cherry also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lake City's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Post Falls, their record now sits at 5-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lake City beat the Trojans by a score of 13-4 later that day.
