Howell has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Titus Combs, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for LKY: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
