Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Twin Peaks Classical Academy). They strolled past the Denver Academy Mustangs with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 69-54. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 48-47 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Leading Twin Peaks Classical Academy to victory were Angel Ortega and Jace Ross. Ortega went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points, while Ross went 6 of 9 en route to 19 points. Ross is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of David Bosire, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

When it comes to explaining why Denver Academy lost, don't look at Riley Allen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals. Those 22 points gave Allen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Beams, who posted six points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Denver Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
