Make it 15 blowout wins for the Hale County Wildcats this season. They blew past Sipsey Valley 47-20 at home on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for Hale County who now have ten in a row.
Hale County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kynaja Marshall, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Marshall continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lailah Hill, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Hale County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Sipsey Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.
Hale County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Patriots at 1:45 p.m. on January 30th. Hillcrest presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Alabama (the Patriots are ranked eighth, while the Wildcats are ranked 67th). Sipsey Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
