The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 win over LaVille on Tuesday. For North Judson-San Pierre, this counts as revenge for the 56-43 loss LaVille walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
North Judson-San Pierre got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cailyn Tunis out in front who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Minix, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
North Judson-San Pierre's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for LaVille, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
North Judson-San Pierre will head out on the road to face off against Benton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Benton Central will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. LaVille will take on Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
