There's no need to mince words: Burke/South Central lost to Colome last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 12-62. Burke/South Central's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Brock Karbo, who picked up 84 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs.
Meanwhile, Corsica/Stickney came up short against Alcester-Hudson, falling 14-26.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
