Demon June Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Jacksonville got the W thanks in part to Demon June playing the best football he has all season. June rushed for 407 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
D.H. Conley's probably not too fond of June given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time June saw the Vikings), he rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

The victory (which was Havelock's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Hewitt and Havelock will be playing at home against Northside - Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Williams rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for D.H. Conley: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
On the season, Williams has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 92.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 8.25 rushing yards per game.
