The Wadsworth Grizzlies will head out on the road to take on the Jackson Polar Bears at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Wadsworth is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Wadsworth came up short against Brecksville-Broadview Heights and fell 65-53. While losing is never fun, Wadsworth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights is ranked 16th).
Meanwhile, Jackson waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 70-56 win over Perry. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Wadsworth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Jackson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
