Meanwhile, Tri-Valley didn't have too much trouble with Line Mountain at home on Saturday as they won 56-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tri-Valley.
Layne Yoder continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last six times he's played. Braeden Doyle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Marian Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow isn't as good as their 16-4 record this season.
