Volleyball Recap: California School for the Deaf-Riverside Has No Trouble Against the Grove School

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Rosa Academy, California School for the Deaf-Riverside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on The Grove School Ravens with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Ravens, too.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept The Grove School between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.

The win got California School for the Deaf-Riverside back to even at 1-1. As for The Grove School, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California School for the Deaf-Riverside will take on Cornerstone Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Grove School, they will square off against Norton Science & Language Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
