Pulaski Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Robinson Senators on Friday, falling 53-14. The Bruins were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Even if they lost, Pulaski Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Brylan Ussery with two.
Robinson was led to victory by Bryshun Cunningham and Reece Simpson. Cunningham gained 86 total yards and a touchdown, while Simpson threw for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Cunningham racked up 67 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
