After a string of three wins, Harlan's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 54-43 to the Julian Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 71-66 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Harlan lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Derion Pope, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Julius Jackson, who had 12 points.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Julian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Harlan will host Lighthouse College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Julian, they will head out on the road to take on Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th.
