Forsyth Country Day won the last time they faced Mount Tabor and things went their way on Thursday too. The Forsyth Country Day Furies walked away with a 44-34 win over the Mount Tabor Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Furies.

Forsyth Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lila Kelly, who posted 16 points. Gigi Lyons was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Despite the loss, Mount Tabor still got an impressive performance from Shaymiah Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Bailey is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Cilento, who put up seven points and five rebounds.

Forsyth Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Mount Tabor, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Forsyth Country Day has already played their next contest, a 44-37 win against Durham Academy on the 24th. As for Mount Tabor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-43 victory against R.J. Reynolds on the 24th.
