The Coolidge Colts pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Maret 63-58.
Several Colts players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quintin Cooper, who scored 22 points. The contest was Cooper's third in a row with at least ten points. Makiah Gray was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Coolidge now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Maret, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coolidge and Idea will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Maret, they will be playing at home against Thurgood Marshall Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
