Dallas Center-Grimes won against Central DeWitt on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Newton Cardinals as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Dallas Center-Grimes has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Newton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Coincidentally, Dallas Center-Grimes and Newton will both be playing Norwalk the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cardinals will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
