After a string of five wins, Middletown's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern York Golden Knights. The match marked the Blue Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Middletown's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Eastern York, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
