Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged Central Catholic out 9-7.
Start's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Notre Dame Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-4.
