There's no place like home for The Boulder City Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Pahrump Valley 38-24 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Boulder City also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.
Gage Hopkinson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 225 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Chase Jappe was another key contributor, picking up 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Boulder City's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pahrump Valley, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Boulder City will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Mater Academy East Las Vegas is ranked 45th, while Boulder City is ranked 30th). Pahrump Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
