Ferris wouldn't let Castleberry keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Ferris can thank Mariano Pedroza and Cotton for forcing both of them. Even if they lost, Sunnyvale's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Alyric Brown with two.

Things could have been worse for Ferris, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 37-19 loss to Sunnyvale in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. Thankfully for Ferris, Evan Johnson (who rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
