Shenandoah Valley Academy has not had much luck with Harrisonburg HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Shenandoah Valley Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joseph Pelote. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jonothan Pelote, who scored nine points along with seven assists.
Shenandoah Valley Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Harrisonburg HomeSchool, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Shenandoah Valley Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Tournament Opponent on January 13th. Harrisonburg HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shabach Christian Academy Blue on January 26th.
