Segerstrom will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against El Modena at 3:15 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Everything went Segerstrom's way against Godinez last Thursday as they made off with a 29-0 win.
El Modena had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last week, breezing past Woodbridge 51-7.
Their wins bumped El Modena to 1-0 and Segerstrom to 2-0. With both Segerstrom and El Modena swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
