The El Camino Eagles can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Trinity Christian by a score of 68-56. The victory was just what El Camino needed coming off of a 69-45 defeat in their prior matchup.
Justin Watts was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrious Perry, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
El Camino's victory ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-17. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3.
El Camino will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rio Americano is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
