Volleyball Recap: Bishop Mcnamara Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bishop McNamara waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Jackson-Reed Tigers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2016.

Their offense was headlined by Sierra Thomas and AnaSofia Zanellato, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Keisha Adkins and her 14 assists.

Bishop McNamara's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Jackson-Reed, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-3.

Bishop McNamara has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Flint Hill on the 11th. As for Jackson-Reed, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against The Academy of the Holy Cross on the 11th.
