Kettle Moraine hasn't had much luck against Oconomowoc recently, but that could start to change  on Saturday. The Lasers will head out to  challenge the Raccoons  at 1:00  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Kettle Moraine is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over Beaver Dam. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Lasers.
 The  victory didn't come easy: Beaver Dam scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-22, 23-25,  25-21.

Kettle Moraine found their leader in freshman  Stella Wilson, who  had ten  digs, four  aces,  and one  block. Wilson also set a new season-high mark in assists with 45.
 Kettle Moraine  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. They are 3-1 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Oconomowoc faced Catholic Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Tuesday. The Raccoons narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Crusaders  3-2.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Oconomowoc got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25,  15-11.
 Oconomowoc's win came from a few key players Kettle Moraine will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Jayce Keller, who  had 16  digs and four  assists. That's the most  digs  she has posted  over her last 16  matches. Another player making a difference was  Sage Christman, who  had 12  digs and one  assist.
 Kettle Moraine's record is now 15-21. As for Oconomowoc, their record now sits at 36-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Saturday's  matchup:  Kettle Moraine has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 5.8  aces per game. However, it's not like Oconomowoc struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 8.6  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Kettle Moraine suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Oconomowoc  in their previous meeting  back in September. Can the Lasers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
